Approximately 3 weeks ago, a church in Toronto sent CMRC funds to help out the suffering churches in Cuba. In spite of the high exchange rates and the challenges to get the money to Cuba, we were able to get cash to our associate, and he distributed it to the churches.
The following is a thank you from the pastors to Thisletown church in Toronto.
Thank you.

Doug Springer
Executive Director
Cuba
We are very grateful for the blessing received from the Baptist Church of Thistletown in Toronto Ontario. We thank God for the country we live in, even though the conditions are not very favorable. But God is faithful and remains our provider. Thanks to brother Douglas and Michel for being the channels that God has used for this blessing. The brothers have testified to us that this blessing has arrived at a very crucial moment where they had nothing to eat in their homes.
Thank you very much.
Alpha and Omega Church, Pastor Carlo Manuel Yull Castillio.

Our Church thanks you and the Baptist church of Thistletown in Toronto, Ontario. I tell you so you know, as far as we can, we give abundant food to 40 children living in extreme poverty. We appreciate the help sent to our church, it was very useful. I’m going to send you some pictures so you can get an idea of how blessed these kids are when we give them food. Some have their parents imprisoned and others are alcoholics. We are thanking the Church for their help, as well as our brother Douglas and his church.
Love from us.
Pastor Fernando Labrada.

Thanks
Oasis de Paz Church in Vista Alegre Ciego de Avila Cuba, Pastors Edward and Judith.

Dear brothers and sisters, it is with deep joy and gratitude that we received financial help to assist our church and our brothers and sisters in need. This assistance arrives at a time of severe food shortages and amidst the many hardships our country is currently enduring.
With these funds, we have purchased various food items—including spaghetti and meat products—which are high in cost and typically very difficult for the average Cuban family to afford. Thanks be to God, several families and fellow believers received a tremendous blessing through your generosity.
Some shared with us that this aid arrived at the precise moment when the few remaining food supplies in their homes had completely run out.
We are deeply grateful that Cuban believers within our community were blessed by your love offering; we pray that God may bless you all in abundance.
In Christ, 1st Baptist Church Nazareth, Cienfuegos, Cuba, Pastor Alexei Rico.

We are deeply grateful and blessed by this assistance from our beloved brothers and sisters at Thistletown Baptist Church in Toronto. God is good, and His hand has not been shortened to bless us amidst the times of crisis, scarcity, and need that our nation is currently experiencing. We also give thanks to God for our brothers Douglas and Michel, whom God used to ensure that this blessing reached our fellow believers, who are truly grateful.

Prayer Requests
- Pray for Douglas Springer as he travels to Peru to meet with Karen and the young ladies in our education program. Doug will also meet with other leaders to discuss possible future projects.
- Pray for wisdom for Karen as she mentors and leads the program in Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon.
- Pray for the Cuban pastors and leaders as they work in such challenging situations. One pastor recently messaged us to tell us they were running out of room as their church was growing quickly.
- Pray for the lost in Cuba as they reach out to churches to find hope in God.
